- Due to its unique design, PAVE EDGE reinforces the edging face while spreading vehicular loads over a wide area of the base. By moving with the pavers, PAVE EDGE remains an integral part of the installation and continually imparts its structural strength across the pavers and the base.
- The reinforced, triangular, hollow core shape provides the best possible rigidity, structural support and tie-in to the pavement system.
- PAVE EDGE’s frost heave / sand retention lip is designed to be placed under the paver and sand. The entire edging lays directly on the base. This prevents sand migration from under the pavers and reinforces stability from load, moisture and the annual freeze thaw cycles.
- PAVE EDGE is made from PVC which has a "memory" so as it moves under load it returns to its original shape.
- PAVE EDGE provides PVC connecting tubes making it the best section to section connection in the industry. Our tube connectors allow continuous strength along the edging without any weakness at the joints.
- Although PAVE EDGE has predrilled holes, you can spike it anywhere along its length, giving support exactly where you need it. Less spikes are needed with PAVE EDGE than with any other edging.
