Both upper and lower cutting edges are segmental and are set in rubber to enable full surface contact and allow more even pressure on uneven surfaces of natural stone.
Note: When using the STONESPLITTER, please be aware that any height variation of more than 4 mm, in your stone product can cause your blades to shift. This causes the bolts securing the blades to loosen. SOLUTION: You will need to periodically check the tightness of your blades more often. Also, if the variation is too great, pressure will be applied to the bolt heads, which can cause the heads to break off.
